Snow Day

Many businesses in my area have proclaimed today a snow/ inhumanly cold day today after yesterday’s blizzard.  While Tabula Rasa stayed at home, all warm and toasty, Foosball and I braved the storm (honestly not knowing how bad it was going to be), had a wipe out on the expressway and generally froze ourselves hiking through thigh high snow drifts to get inside of the post office.  Were it not for the damage inflicted upon the vehicle, this trip would have been so worth it.

  2. Chilly perspective. The blowing snow surely speaks to the drift directly below.

    • It was pretty intense, I think if not for the wind there would have been more snow in that hall.

  4. Great shot, leaves me wanting more. I was wondering how you were holding up with this weather. They’ve been talking about it on the news a lot over here, showing clips. Looks terrible. One anchor called it “Chiberia” :D

Hope you’re staying warm & safe. Sucks about the car thing, hope it’s not too expensive. :(

    • The Chiberia thing has been cracking me up. Thankfully I had the coldest day off work so I got to spend it home with animals. Today was in the 20s so it felt downright balmy out there, it seems experiencing -30 wind chills can give a person a little perspective.
