I’ve seen a ton of abandoned building photography, and I thought it was largely played out. This photo, along with several of your others, make use of light and set pieces (like this piano) that make the genre new again. Way to go!

Most of the time pianos are just left behind, too hard and expensive to move them and no one wants to buy one. My guess is this was deliberately left there to act as a barrier to the door.

I do wonder if they were trying to take the piano out and just got it stuck, though the way these places go they may have just wedged it there to help keep the door shut.
