In Real Life

window

I never thought that my little hobby and blog would ever translate into a real life showing of my photos, but here we are.  This July Tabula Rasa, Bent Bottle and I will be hanging 10 images each in the Art Gallery at the Oak Park Public Library for a month.  Feel free to stop by and take a look.

    • Thanks! It is going to be very strange to see my work hung in such a public place and I have no idea how it will be received. I’m both excited and terrified!

  5. Wow, this is awesome – and well deserved, I might say! Wish I could swing by and check out the exhibit. Will there be a “review” of the display on this blog? :D

Really though, in all seriousness, this is fantastic news. I keep telling you guys you will open a museum one day. Just don’t forget us lowly peeps when you hit the bigtime! ;-) So happy for you, I’m smiling ear to ear right now.

    • Thanks for all your kind words SI, I’ve been thinking that a review of the show might be in order when it opens. thing is, you guys have had the sneak peek all along and have seen everything already!
Your support has meant a lot to us, we’ll never forget you :) We’re considering participating in more shows and possibly even an art fair or two but at this point we haven’t got past musing out loud. Who knows, perhaps one day we’ll be in your neighborhood? The world is a weird place, stranger things have happened!

      • Actually the lady and I spoke of visiting you guys sometime this year, but we’re in the process of trying to financially secure first-time lodgings for ourselves (purposeful obfuscation there), so it’s been busy and of course expensive. That said, we still plan to visit, but the trip might be pushed out to late 2014 or early-to-mid 2015. I hope we can coordinate so we can get some of the best tour guides to show us around! ;-)

    • Road Trip!
I’ve considered making one out in your direction, I want to do some rural-ex!

      • Road trip sounds awesome!! Let us know if you are ever in the area or passing through! Although it is a few hours from us, I would have to say that North Dakota is a playground for rural-ex!

I am so happy for you guys! I;m sorry I won’t be able to make the trip for the show, but hoist a Crown Royal and Coke and I’ll be there in spirit. :)
